The Finance Ministry had recently extended the deadline for filing September 2018 GSTR-3B sales returns to October 25. The earlier deadline was October 20.
Along with the deadline for return filing, the due date for ITC (input tax credit) claim for the period of July 2017-March 2018 has also been extended till October 25.
Traders, however, are not very happy with the news as the extension of just 5 days is not expected to cause any benefit.
